One-2-One Laptop Initiative Every student and teacher at Thomas Edison becomes an adept laptop user at school and at home for equal access to content resources. Laptops not only help improve and personalize learning, additional research shows that learners become more engaged and motivated in a technology-rich environment. We believe that increasing students’ tech-savvy skills and digital intelligence will enable them to thrive in a 21st century world. Laptop Rollout and Implementation Before receiving their laptops, all students are required to attend a roll out session which outlines the rules and responsibilities of using the laptop for the school year. Please see the attached brochure, Informational Guide to Your Gateway . All students should carry this brochure in their laptop bags. During the school year, students and staff follow the TEMS Acceptable Use Policy. |
